Hiking Trails

This path provides insight into the intermediary worlds of the village, mountain forest, and Gornergrat Railway. It rises gently, just enough so that houses or forest can be seen depending on the section.

This steep hike is rewarded with the most beautiful views on two sides – on one side to the Alpine panorama with the mighty 4000-meter peaks, on the other side to the Zermatt valley basin as well as to a remote little valley.

From Attermenzen, the path leads through wooded terrain up to the Springelboden area.
