Our recommendation:

• Good footwear
• Possibly walking poles
• Appropriate clothing depending on the weather (always bring rain protection)

Can also be done as an evening walk (check the timetable for the Matterhorn Express).

Barrier-free walking path, also suitable for wheelchair users.

• Plan every mountain route carefully and adapt to your own conditions, the weather, and the season.
• The weather in the mountains can change quickly. Therefore, bring appropriate clothing and enough provisions and water. Turn back in time if the weather is uncertain.
• Inform others about your route and if possible, never go alone.
• Do not leave marked paths and do not venture onto glaciers without a mountain guide.
• Walking on ski slopes is prohibited.
• Be considerate of other hikers as well as plants and animals.
• Observe the warning signs that alert to the constant danger in the riverbed and on the banks of the watercourses below dams and water catchments.

Note: Agricultural vehicles may be on the road. Therefore, it is advisable to always keep an ear open.
