This hike makes flower lovers who are interested in alpine flora enthusiastic. Numerous thematic boards provide information about alpine flowers that grow within sight of the boards. They answer questions that a layperson may never have asked. For example: Why does the Edelweiss have fluffy hairs? The answers on the boards are surprising. The Edelweiss, for instance, protects itself with the hairs from too intense sunlight, frost, and drying out.
