• Carefully plan every mountain hike and adapt it to your own conditions as well as the weather and the season.
• The weather can change quickly in the mountains. Therefore, take appropriate clothing and enough provisions and water. In case of uncertain weather, turn back in time.
• Inform others about the route and if possible never go alone.
• Do not leave marked paths and do not go onto glaciers without a mountain guide.
• Be considerate of other hikers as well as plants and animals.
• Observe warning signs that draw attention to the constant danger in the riverbed and on the banks of watercourses below dams and water intakes.
