Description
The hike starts at the Attermenzen campsite above Randa. The path steadily ascends through quiet mountain forest and conveys a secluded atmosphere from the start.
With increasing altitude, the forest thins out and the view opens up over the Mattertal and the surrounding mountain world. The combination of forest passages and open sections provides a varied ascent.
In the upper area, the route transitions into open terrain. Springelboden lies in a wide, open landscape and offers an impressive transition to the higher mountain world.
