What to do in the event of an emergency:

• Assess the situation and the patient’s condition
• Secure the accident site and give first aid
• Call 144 (emergency call centre)
• Tell the emergency call centre about the situation, precise location and symptoms
• Look after the casualty until the emergency services are on site
• Update the emergency services
