Description
The hike from Sunnegga to Winkelmatten is a particularly scenic and varied tour. Right from the start, impressive panoramic views open up of the Matterhorn and the surrounding four-thousanders of the Valais Alps. The path initially leads to the idyllically situated Leisee and continues over the traditional hamlet of Findeln, where a pleasant stopover with a magnificent view is offered. Afterwards, the descent runs through open forests steadily downhill until finally the quiet district of Winkelmatten is reached.
