This varied hike, which passes the hamlet of Wildi, is a testament to the protective measures people have taken against nature, which can often show its wild side.

Wildi – the name says it all. A protective wall from the 19th century protects the hamlet of Wildi from floods. On "Hohtschugga" stands a nine-meter-high wooden cross, erected in 1934 by the youth of Randa. The small shrine of Saint Anthony was built a long time ago so that the saint helps when nature becomes wild. The alpine pasture is rich in alpine flowers. At dusk, deer often roam the protected forest and alpine pastures.
