Description

From Zermatt, the funicular takes you to Sunnegga, where a cable car continues on to Blauherd. From Blauherd, the gravel path goes down to Grünsee Lake. From Grünsee, the path climbs steadily up to Riffelboden and finally downhill again to Riffelalp. If you prefer a trail focused more on fun and wide paths than challenge, you can turn right onto the Riffelberg flow trail here too. This also leads to Riffelalp.

From Riffelalp, you can either take the gravel road back to Furi or follow the Riffelberg Trail.
