3920 ZermattWatching the alphorn and the Schwyzerörgeli playing close up. Listen to the musicians in the open air and enjoy the music. These are the Zermatt Folklore Music Weeks. During this time, numerous folkloric groups perform in the village of Zermatt as well as on the excursion mountains of Zermatt - Matterhorn.
The performances take place daily at 16:00 on the on the museum square. During the day, other spontaneous performances will take place in the village as well as on the mountains of the destination.
(Except for Sundays and throughout the month of August, the performances take place at 16:00 on Museum Square.)

I absolutely love playing with the other Valais Blacknose sheep. But I also really enjoy exciting adventures and discovering the world.
That’s why you can also meet me every Monday at 4:00 p.m. at the station square in Zermatt from June 22 to September 28, 2026.

Bahnhofstrasse, 3920 ZermattFor six weeks in the summer, a herd of about 50 blackneck goats passes through the Bahnhofstrasse in Zermatt each morning and evening. This is the so-called «Goats’ Tour». Hundreds of guests stand in rows to see and photograph these black and white goats. Be ready to take a picture of the most photographed goats in the world.
At about 9.00 a.m. and at about 4.30 p.m.
In case of major events in the village, the herd will be guided along the river Vispa (Bachstrasse).
