Hotel Zermama, Matterstrasse 23, 3920 ZermattWe are collecting clothes and shoes for people who live in the canton of Valais who suffer from poverty.
The last years ago, we managed to gather so many items that the Hotel Zermama was covered - a huge success! Thanks again to everyone who was involved and supported. Highly appreciated! The charity organization is called "Winterhilfe Oberwallis" People from Valais help people from Valais who are less fortunate. We would highly appreciate it if you could spare items and donate them for the greater good. Please make sure that the clothes are washed. We would like to make sure, that all collected items reassemble a gift from the heart.

For each donation, enjoy a complimentary cup of Glühwein from Mama. Thank you so much for your support and your donations.

Obere Matten (E6/E7), 3920 ZermattOn Saturday, the Zermatt Winter Gear Swap invites you to a sustainable and community-based winter sports flea market in the Sportpavillon.
From 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., locals, seasonal workers, and guests can purchase well-maintained winter sports equipment at affordable prices or pass on their own items.
The event combines sustainability, accessibility, and local solidarity: skis, snowboards, touring equipment, and other winter items are offered clean, in good working order, and sorted by category—at fair prices.
The event will be accompanied by live music, a raffle to benefit local projects, and drinks available on site. All proceeds from the raffle and 10% of sales proceeds will go to charitable causes in the region.
Item drop-off:
• Friday, December 5: 4:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.
• Saturday, December 6: 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Pickup of unsold items & sales proceeds:
• Sunday, December 7: 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
