Art Exhibition: Katja Loher: The Geometry of the Invisible

Next available date: Sat, 18 Apr 2026 | 10:00 - 19:00

Selection Shop by Heinz Julen, Bahnhofstrasse 7B, 3920 Zermatt
For her second exhibition at Kunsträume Zermatt, Katja Loher connects oceanic depths with alpine heights.

Her video sculptures and installations explore the transformation of water: the sea becomes a cloud, the cloud turns into snow, the snow crystallizes — and returns as art. At the heart of the exhibition is the hexagon, a form of balance and efficiency found in snowflakes, honeycomb structures, galaxies, and microscopic life. Through luminous objects and moving images, Loher interprets geometry not merely as structure, but as a living, evolving system.

The exhibition will take place at the following locations:
- Selection Shop by Heinz Julen, Bahnhofstrasse 7B
- Backstage Gallery, Hofmattstrasse 4
