Our Executive Chef André Kneubühler is a master of his art: the art of setting the perfect stage for the synergies of different tastes and thus for the authenticity of local Alpine and seasonal quality products. Pure, uncomplicated, modern – often with a twist and flavourful nuances of faraway places. We process only the best products. Due to the regionality and to our focus on quality rather than quantity, we strongly promote sustainability.
Our small but excellent à la carte menu fulfils all preferences and offers intriguing options. Additionally, all dishes excel in vegetarian finesse – however, for those who love fish and meat we will create delicacies that harmonise perfectly with the menu. Guests who like to be surprised, we seduce with a 5-course-menu that embraces chosen components from the à la carte menu as well as from the highlight of the day, accompanied by corresponding beverages. Winter:On the descent from Sunnegga to Zermatt, is the legendary Champagne Bar, with a beautiful view of the Matterthorn Horu, and over Zermatt, where we serve our guests in a wonderful ambience, delicious, cold champagne in champagne glasses.The place where the day ends, after a wonderful ski day. The Smokers Lounge in the Stars Bar is open all day. Black leather upholstery and an open fire invite you to stay and relax. Of course you are also welcome to enjoy drinks from the bar in the Smokers’ Lounge. A smooth brandy or mature whisky will make a particularly fitting accompaniment to your fine cigar.
