You can reach the start of the Riffelberg Trail with the Riffelberg Express and it starts directly below the mountain station. After the first short section, you ride along the gallery parallel to the Gornergrat railway for a short distance before continuing on to Riffelalp on a flowing and winding route. The view of the Matterhorn is particularly impressive here. After a length of gravel road, you reach the last two sections of the Riffelberg flow trail.
At the end of the trail, you can head back up again on the Riffelberg Express or connect to the Moos Trail leading back to Zermatt.
