The unique Elsie's Bar (est. 1964) is located in the middle of Zermatt on the well-frequented church square. This cosy wine and champagne bar from the golden 20s offers a large and well-chosen selection of top wines & champagne, many of which are also available by the glass, as well as fine regional delicacies. Vive la belle époque!  On Mondays and Tuesdays during the winter season, friends of great cuisine go to Elsie for an exquisite gourmet dinner.  Lukas Ryffel prepares a special 4-course menu which changes every 2 weeks, winning the hearts of Elsie guests.
