Notice: Due to the current general fire ban, this fire pit must not be used until further notice. Please do not light any fires outdoors.
This ‘Swiss family’ firepit area is located on the edge of the Täsch-Zermatt hiking trail and invites you to stop and stay for a while. It’s a lovely spot to picnic and take in the scenery. From there, you can watch the trains travelling between Zermatt and Täsch.

Description
The barbecue area at the edge of the forest is one of the ‘Swiss Family’ fire pits which is permanently installed. It is located at the edge of the forest.
- No public wood store
- Bring your own matches and fuel
- No WC
