The hamlet of Furi (1,867 m) used to be a summer pasture where cattle grazed centuries ago. The old houses are authentic Walser mountain houses, barns and granaries. Today, Furi has developed into an adventure world for the whole family.
Furi became famous, however, because of its glacier garden, which bears witness to the last ice age. There are also restaurants and a hotel in Furi to linger.
