Opening Ceremony Christmas Tree

When darkness falls earlier and the scent of cinnamon fills the air, it signals the arrival of the most wonderful time of the year: winter in Zermatt.
As the village transforms into a sparkling sea of lights, we would like to invite you to join us in celebrating the festive lighting of our Christmas tree on the first Sunday of Advent.

Look forward to an atmospheric celebration with music, warm drinks, and a special moment when the lights on our Christmas tree shine for the first time.

This year's celebration has the motto “Make a Wish” – a symbol of spreading hope and heartfelt wishes throughout the world.

Together, we would like to welcome the winter season and share the magic of the pre-Christmas period.
