Description
The cultural routes are a project of the "Alts-Zermatt" association. From the Kirchplatz, they lead over the Herbrigg into the valley to the hamlet of Zmutt and via Furi back to the village.
Along the way, there are always stations with themes about cultural life from over 100 years ago. These include a lynx trap, management of meadows and fields, climate change, old barns and buildings, and much more.
A highlight is certainly the barn on the Herbrigg, considered one of the oldest in Europe.
