Description

The alpine garden is located right by the Rotenboden mountain station and is easily accessible even for non-mountain hikers. At numerous signs with QR codes, you can dive into the fascinating world of alpine plants and learn more about it.

Because the flora at the Gornergrat is one of the richest in species areas in the Swiss Alps and is unique due to its special location. Many plant species grow here at higher altitudes than in other comparable areas.
