Our recommendation:

• Good footwear
• Hiking poles if needed
• Clothing suitable for the weather (always carry rain protection)
• Sunscreen and sunglasses for the sun terraces of the mountain restaurants

Although there are many restaurants along the way, you should still bring drinking water. Maybe the wine enjoyed at the mountain restaurants makes you thirsty again on the way home.

• Carefully plan every mountain hike and adapt it to your own condition as well as the weather and season.
• The weather can change quickly in the mountains. Therefore, bring suitable clothing and enough provisions and water. Turn back in time if the weather is uncertain.
• Inform others about your route and if possible, never go alone.
• Do not leave marked paths and do not go on glaciers without a mountain guide.
• Be considerate of other hikers as well as plants and animals.
• Observe the warning signs about the constant danger in the riverbed and along the banks of watercourses below dams and water intakes.
