Description
The hike begins at the Gornergrat. Then continues to Rotenboden along the Riffelsee with Matterhorn reflection and over alpine pastures to Riffelberg. With some luck, you might even meet the flock of sheep.
Along the way, you walk from cairn to cairn or rather from station to station. Using QR codes, you can learn in videos and information texts more about the surroundings around the Gornergrat. From captivating stories about the majestic glacier to insights into the rich flora and fauna of the region as well as the famous black-nosed sheep, the trail offers a variety of informative and fascinating content.
With every step, you not only discover the impressive nature but also dive deeper into the history and diversity of the Swiss Alps.
