Description

The AHV path is by no means just for older people. It leads from the Winkelmatten chapel slightly uphill to the track of the Gornergrat Railway. Those who have never closely observed the metal teeth of a cogwheel railway get the opportunity here. Then it continues relatively flat. On the left are the hotels and houses of Zermatt, which sometimes offer a little insight. Finally, the path fully enters the forest.
