• Good footwear
• Possibly hiking poles
• Clothing appropriate to the weather (always carry: rain protection)
• Possibly swimwear (swimming opportunities at Leisee and Grünsee)
• Possibly picnic

Family meeting: Is the visit to one of the mountain restaurants planned or does the majority prefer to picnic?

In addition, in three of the lakes, the Matterhorn reflection can be admired in good weather.

• Plan every mountain hike carefully and adapt it to your own conditions and the weather and season.
• The weather can change quickly in the mountains. Therefore, bring appropriate clothing and enough provisions and water. Turn back in time if the weather is uncertain.
• Inform others about the tour and, if possible, never go alone.
• Do not leave marked paths and do not go on glaciers without a mountain guide.
• Be considerate of other hikers as well as plants and animals.
• Observe the warning signs that draw attention to the constant danger in the riverbed and on the banks of watercourses below reservoirs and water intakes.
