Description
The view from the 360° Loop Gornergrat is unforgettable: You see the Monte Rosa massif with the highest Swiss mountain (Dufourspitze, 4,634 m), the second largest glacier in the Alps (Gorner Glacier), as well as a panorama including 29 four-thousanders – including the Matterhorn. Everything within reach.
The short high-altitude hiking trail starts and ends at the Gornergrat viewing platform and runs behind the Gornergrat peak. With some luck, wild ibex can be seen.
