Description
Featuring violinist Marie-Claude Martel & quartet Join us for a free evening of reflection and resonance in the heart of Zermatt. Classical melodies will fill the timeless space of St. Mauritius Church, guiding us into stillness and gratitude. This is more than a concert. It's an invitation to slow down, to listen deeply, and to reconnect with the quiet rhythm within yourself through music and presence.
The evening unfolds in St. Mauritius Church, one of Zermatt’s most historic and contemplative spaces. For generations, it has offered a place of pause and perspective to those drawn to the surrounding mountains — including those setting out for or returning from the mighty Matterhorn. A space where silence and endurance meet, it will once again hold something rare: collective calm, shared gratitude, and the resonance of live strings.
The program will be performed by violinist Marie-Claude Martel (Canada) and her quartet — artists celebrated for their expressive grace and emotional clarity. From Montreal to Vienna, Marie-Claude’s performances have been described as “meditations in motion” — bridging stillness and sound, precision and peace.
