Bern - Zermatt, a stage that is part of the international racing bike series "Chasing Cancellara". Every year, around 400 cycling enthusiasts take part in Switzerland's toughest one-day race and are surrounded by unique nature along the way. The racers are expected at the finish line in Zermatt at the Obere Matten.

The race is part of the swiss cycling legend and two time Olympic Champion Fabian Cancellara’s international race series Chasing Cancellara which will provide the participants with a very demanding course. Who manages to overtake the champion or to beat his time?

From the federal capital Bern, the racers will set off over 300 kilometers and 5000 meters of altitude to Zermatt. The route leads through the Gantrisch natural parc, over the passes Mittelberg and Col du Pillon into the lower part of Valais to finally reach Zermatt.

The finish in Zermatt takes place between 11.00 am and 07.00 pm on the "Obere Matten".

Frédéric Klink, who founded Coquino in 1998, puts children's heads in the stars and their feet firmly on the ground, so that each of them can radiate their own joie de vivre and personality.

On 21 and 22 June, you will have the opportunity to be enchanted by the incredible shows of the Coquino circus school. For about an hour each time, 20 different young artists will perform on the church square in Zermatt and show off their skills with just a small amount of equipment.

Watching the alphorn and the Schwyzerörgeli playing close up. Listen to the musicians in the open air and enjoy the music. These are the Zermatt Folklore Music Weeks. During this time, numerous folkloric groups perform in the village of Zermatt as well as on the excursion mountains of Zermatt - Matterhorn.

The performances take place daily at 16:00 on the on the museum square. During the day, other spontaneous performances will take place in the village as well as on the mountains of the destination.
