The mountain lodge for adventures in the mountains! Our cosy lodge (formerly Berghaus Grünsee) is located at 2,300 metres above sea level in the middle of the skiing and hiking area between Gornergrat and Rothorn. In summer, the diverse Alpine flora, the Swiss stone pine forest and the nearby Grünsee lake invite guests to go on short and long explorations. The lodge is also perfectly located for cyclists and can be easily integrated into your tour. In winter, you can enjoy ski-in/ski-out access in the middle of a magnificent ski area and the freeride paradise of Gornergrat, Hohtälli and Stockhorn.

Sunnegga’ sounds like a lot of sunshine. Anyone who is a little familiar with the Valais dialect will know that guests are spoilt with sunshine from morning to night at this ‘corner’. It is the perfect place to enjoy local specialities and a glass of wine. A sensational extra on the spacious terrace is the direct view of the Matterhorn. Thanks to its location in the immediate vicinity of the ‘Sunnegga Express’ railway station, the Sunnegga buffet and bar are easy to reach on foot, even without skis or snowboard.
