Description

Five days, over 100 concerts, 16 stages and the imposing mountain backdrop of Zermatt. The Zermatt Unplugged acoustic music festival has become a fixture on the Swiss music scene. The first edition took place in 2007. The atmosphere at this annual festival is so unique that visitors are always keen to return to Zermatt in April.m throughout the village and on the mountain. The mix of acoustic music, impressive mountain scenery, beautiful spring snows, Zermatt hospitality and the incomparable atmosphere of the Matterhorn make the festival a unique all-round experience. The festival was founded in 2007 by Thomas Sterchi and Marco Godat as a singer-songwriter festival. Since then, this acoustic festival has attracted 30,000 visitors to Zermatt every year.
