Option 2: From Zermatt along the paved road to Täsch or take the shuttle train of the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway back and forth.

• Technically flawless bike
• Helmet, protective gear, gloves, and trail bell
• Repair kit, spare tube, and multitool
• Weather-appropriate clothing (always include rain protection)
• Drink and food
• First aid kit

• Wearing gloves and helmet is recommended, because smart heads protect themselves.
• Use only the marked bike paths and roads and follow the signage. Please close gates and pasture fences behind you.
• Be considerate of hikers as well as plants and animals. Hikers always have right of way.
• Assess your own skills and condition well, as some routes reach 3,000 meters.
• Riding the different routes is basically at your own responsibility.
