Description
Take the mountain railway up to Blauherd. The nature path to Tufteren starts not far from the mountain station. Although the path begins relatively flat, it is dotted with some challenging elements like sharp hairpins. It's worth stopping occasionally to admire the magnificent views of the Matterhorn, Mettelhorn, and Weisshorn.
At the hamlet of Tufteren, the gravel road leads back through the beautiful larch and Swiss pine forest to Sunnegga.
This path is especially popular with hikers, so please give way to them and ride particularly considerately.
