To make sure that they reach your table as fresh as possible, the ingredients come directly from local farms and fishermen. From homemade pasta to delicious interpretations of grilled meat and fish, the Madre Nostra carries Italian cuisine in its heart and on its plate.

Marie's Deli offers homemade delicatessen to enjoy on spot or take-away, as well as caterings and deliveries on demand. The menu varies between local specialties and comfort food and the weekend Brunch is one of the best in town - reservation in advance strongly recommended.

A visit at the Monte Rosa Hut, 2883meters above sea level in the middle of the glaciers from Zermatt, surrounded by many 4000m peaks, is a must see for every visitor of Zermatt!
Whether in winter with your skis or in summer across the new panorama trail - reachable in 3.5 up to 4 hours from Rotenboden (alpine hiking trail with a part across the glacier - crampons recommended!)

The big and sunny terrace with a unique view to the Matterhorn and the Gornerglacier invite you to rest and enjoy your time. During the winter season and in summer the Monte Rosa hut also provides the possibility to stay overnight.
