The menu at Riffelhaus 1853 offers Swiss specialities and international classics. A particular favourite is the rösti, simply made from potatoes, salt and pepper. The art lies in the preparation at 2500 metres above sea level.

Beautifully perched on a rock, just 45 minutes walk up from Zermatt town, Edelweiss is an idyllic spot for a refreshing drink on longer hikes, a leisurely lunch, rustic dinner or over night stay.

The sunny terrace offers unique and stunning views across Zermatt, toward Rothorn and Gornergrat.
