Description

The hamlet of Zmutt is already over 500 years old. The densely packed dark wooden houses exude romance and tradition. The small white chapel can be seen from afar. The path leads through the hamlet and crosses the Zmuttbach stream, where deep below – depending on the cold – mighty icicle formations and ice walls can be seen.

  • Magnificent view of the north face of the Matterhorn
  • Path partly on the "Matterhorn Trail" with information boards about the Matterhorn
