Description

With this beautiful view, hiking up the mountain is even more fun. After the Winkelmatten district, the path enters the protected forest, where it goes uphill in dappled shade. Despite the forest, bright light conditions prevail because larches do not carry needles in winter. Occasionally, there is a clear view of the Matterhorn. Once the tree line is crossed, the snowfields shine.

Arriving in Findeln, you face the delightful choice: in which restaurant to stop? Because Findeln is the gourmet mecca par excellence. After the refreshment, the path winds along the ski slope uphill to Sunnegga.

  • Wolli beginners’ park at Leisee (for little ski bunnies)
  • Leisee shuttle train as an alternative to winter hiking
