Wildlife with Swarovski binoculars Rotenboden

Experience the fascinating wildlife of the Alps in the early hours of the morning: Our guided wildlife observation hike from Rotenboden offers you the chance to observe ibexes, marmots and, with a bit of luck, bearded vultures or golden eagles in their natural habitat. Equipped with high-quality SWAROVSKI OPTIK binoculars and accompanied by experienced ZERMATTERS hiking guides, you can immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the Zermatt mountains.

The tour starts early in the morning with the Gornergratbahn from Zermatt to Rotenboden. From there, your guide will lead you along quiet paths into the area around the Riffelhorn and Riffelsee - ideal habitats for ibex and other alpine animals. During the approx. 4.5-hour hike, you will gain exciting insights into the behavior of the animals and the alpine flora. The route is easy and is adapted to the group.

Program

• Take the first train to Rotenboden.
• From there, we walk quietly towards the Monte Rosa hut so as not to scare away the ibex.
• Throughout the hike, we will try out the Swarovski Optik binoculars and keep an eye out for animals.
• As soon as it gets warmer, we may be lucky enough to see the marmots at play.
• We finish our hike at around 11:00 am at Rotenboden and return to Zermatt with unforgettable memories.
