Wildlife with Swarovski binoculars Aroleid

Experience the fascinating wildlife of the Alps in the early hours of the morning: Our guided wildlife observation hike near Aroleid offers you the chance to observe deer, chamois and, with a bit of luck, other wild animals in their natural habitat. Equipped with high-quality SWAROVSKI OPTIK binoculars and accompanied by experienced ZERMATTERS hiking guides, you will immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the Zermatt mountains.

The tour starts early in the morning with a meeting at the ZERMATTERS home base. From there, your guide will lead you on quiet paths through the Swiss stone pine forest towards Aroleid - an ideal area for wildlife spotting. During the approx. 6-hour hike, you will gain exciting insights into the behavior of the animals and the alpine flora. The route is adapted to suit the group.

Program

• We hike through the forest to Furi and on to Aroleid, keeping an eye out for deer and chamois.
• In the Swiss stone pine forest we will find the tracks of the nutcracker and hopefully be able to observe it.
• After hopefully successful game spotting, we return to Furi, where the tour ends.
• You are free to take the gondola to Zermatt or descend to Zermatt on foot. You could also explore the Gorner Gorge, for example.
