With this ticket you can only go to the start of the toboggan run, the Rotenboden station. Would you like to go to the Gornergrat? Then get the Winter Pass.

Price and conditions

Prices:

  • Adults: CHF 80.00
  • ½-Tax-Abo, GA, Swiss Half Fare Card, Swiss Travel Pass: CHF 59.00
  • Children 9-15.99 years: CHF 36.00 Children up to 8.99 years old or with a Wolli/Junior Card ride for free. Sled rental is CHF 15.00.
  • This ticket is valid for one day.
  • Please note that GA day tickets and GA municipality day tickets are not entitled to a reduction.

Safe sledging

The right equipment

  • Warm winter clothing and gloves
  • Sturdy shoes with good grip for steering and braking (no trainers / high heels or ski boots)
  • A snow sports helmet

Exemplary behaviour

  • Familiarise yourself with braking and steering techniques
  • Children should sit at the front and close to the adult
  • Do not bring dogs onto the sledding run

The right sledging technique

Basic position

  • Sit upright, place your feet on the runners.

Steering

  • Shift your weight inwards, press your foot into the snow next to the inside skid.

Braking

  • Press both feet flat into the snow directly next to the skids, lift the skis forwards to strengthen them, lift the front of the skate, do not straighten your legs.
