Situated in the hills above Zermatt, in a peaceful and idyllic setting, the Legendär Zermatt residence welcomes you for a unique stay in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Enjoy spacious and comfortable apartments, some of which offer spectacular views of the Matterhorn, one of Switzerland’s most iconic mountains.

The residence offers 17 holiday apartments of various sizes and layouts, accommodating between 2 and 10 people depending on the apartment.

Each flat features a cosy living area, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and separate bedrooms, depending on the layout. The flats are particularly well-suited to families, groups of friends and longer stays, offering more space and independence than a traditional hotel room.

Some apartments have a balcony or terrace with a magnificent view of the Matterhorn, whilst others enjoy views of the surrounding mountains and woodland.

Indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and leisure facilities

After a day’s skiing, hiking or exploring Zermatt, make the most of the residence’s communal facilities:

• Heated indoor swimming pool, accessible to residents.

• Jacuzzi, for a moment of relaxation after your activities.

• Games room, ideal for children and families.

• Ski storage room with boot dryers, so your equipment is ready to use.

• Laundry room, with an occasional laundry service available on request.

The swimming pool and jacuzzi are generally open from 12 noon to 8 pm.

A prime location for exploring Zermatt

Legendär enjoys a unique location on the hills above the village, right next to the Gornergrat railway line.

The residence has its own stop, ‘Legendär’, located just one stop from Zermatt railway station. The Gornergrat Bahn also provides direct access to the high-altitude skiing and hiking areas.

The centre of Zermatt is also accessible via a footpath, taking around 10 to 15 minutes, offering an alternative to the train.

Important: due to its location, the residence is not directly accessible by car or taxi. Access is exclusively via the Gornergrat railway or the footpath, which involves an uphill walk and steps. We strongly recommend checking the train timetables and our access guide before your arrival.
