Embark on a 7-day e-bike journey through the Alps with e-Alps to conquer the legendary Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt! Discover charming accommodations, breathtaking Alpine single trails and fantastic scenery. An extraordinary adventure awaits you, starting in Chamonix and ending in Zermatt 7 days later.
DAY 1: Gain confidence on flowy singletracks
We’ll spend the day on winding, playful trails guaranteed to put a smile on your face. The panorama of Mont Blanc is breathtaking, and the UNESCO World Heritage vineyards we pass through are just as remarkable. We’ll end the day in the heart of the Swiss Alps, in a renovated barn, enjoying a delicious homemade meal.
DAY 2: Welcome to Verbier, the e-bike Mecca
A panoramic climb takes us to Verbier, the e-bike paradise, where you can choose between the mellow blue bike park track or a magnificent, natural alpine trail. A scenic trail will take us to our accommodation in Nendaz.
DAY 3: A stunning alpine ridge
The day begins with an impressive ride along an old irrigation canal, followed by two breathtaking descents: an alpine ridge and seemingly endless singletrack on a pine needle carpet. The day ends in a historic hotel, an architectural gem with a vintage lounge, to reflect on this incredible day.
DAY 4: A breathtaking alpine pass at 2,900 meters and a historic hotel
Don't forget a hearty breakfast this morning. The day's first climb will take us up to an incredible pass at 2,900 meters. It's a real challenge, but one you can do with your e-bike! The descent will reward your effort: an undulating alpine single trail with incredible views of the 4,000-meter peaks. After a playful descent into the valley, our second “flow uphill” climb takes us to a jewel of the Swiss Alps: a hotel set on a magnificent plateau with panoramic views.
DAY 5: An epic day rewarded by an outdoor spa at 2,000 metres
Prepare for an unforgettable day of fun-filled singletrack down to the valley. Warm up your brake pads and smile! A shuttle will bring us back to a plateau overlooking the valley. The day will end in an alpine refuge at 2,000 meters, with an outdoor jacuzzi and wellness area waiting for you.
DAY 6: Ride at the foot of the Matterhorn
The last day of e-MTB will begin with a magnificent trail offering panoramic views of the peaks of the Zermatt Valley. An undulating single trail will take us back into the valley.
We then climb to discover the last jewel of our trip: an alpine railway that takes us to the Gornergrat for a magical final descent facing the iconic Matterhorn. We will end our adventure in a spa hotel. Take time to relax your muscles and reflect on the incredible experience!
DAY 7: One last ride in Zermatt?
This morning, you will have two options: ride one last time in front of the iconic Matterhorn or enjoy the view and a delicious coffee on the terrace. If you still have the energy, opt for the first option – breathtaking panoramas, legendary trails and the Matterhorn in all its facets to round off your stay in style!
The time has come to say goodbye, with a head full of memories of an unforgettable adventure through the Alps. Why not return for another Haute Route, like the UNESCO Haute Route? Check out our e-MTB adventure calendar: https://e-alps.com/en/e-bike-tour-calendar/.
