Haus Whymper

The Whymper building is located in a sunny spot in the centre of Zermatt. Bahnhofstrasse, with its numerous shops, bars and restaurants, is just a 2-minute walk away. The Gornergrat railway is about 150 metres away, and the ski bus stop is about a 5-minute walk away.

The modern apartment building has a lift and a ski room. All apartments are non-smoking, and pets are not permitted. Due to the central location, the noise level may be slightly higher. Tennis courts, hockey pitches and several children's playgrounds are located nearby. Increased noise levels are to be expected during the ‘Zermatt Unplugged’ music festival in April.

A tunnel provides direct access to the 4-star Hotel Schweizerhof, whose wellness area and pool can be used by guests – but only during the hotel's opening hours (mid-December to mid-April and mid-July to the end of August).
