1. House rules

• The house rules ensure a smooth stay and maintain the quality of the apartment. Each reservation implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms as well as the "Arrival/Departure Conditions."

2. Accommodation Capacity

• The accommodation is designed for a maximum of 2 guests. Exceeding this capacity is not permitted.
• Adults only.

3. Use of the premises

• The tenant agrees to use the apartment with care and respect.
• The furniture and equipment are new and must not be rearranged.
• Decorative items must not be moved or altered.
• Noise disturbances are prohibited during nighttime hours.
• Additional charges may apply in case of damages or rule violations.

4. Cleanliness and Maintenance

• The tenant agrees to keep the apartment clean and tidy.
• After each stay, the apartment is thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

5. Prohibited Actions

• Smoking inside the apartment is strictly prohibited.
• Pets are not allowed unless explicitly authorized in advance.
• Wearing outdoor shoes inside the apartment is not permitted. A designated area is available outside the entrance.
• Skis, ski boots, snowboards, or other mountain equipment must not be stored in the apartment or hallways. They must be kept in the designated ski room, which must remain locked.

6. Amenities

The apartment includes:

• Wi-Fi: High-speed internet
• TV and Bluetooth speaker
• Kitchen:
  • Dishwasher
  • Oven / Microwave oven
  • Important Note: Only the oven rack may be used for the microwave function. The blue universal tray must not be used in microwave mode.
  • The range hood must be switched on while cooking to prevent moisture buildup.
  • Nespresso coffee machine
  • Fondue set fpr cheese and meat
  • Raclette oben / grill for „Charbonnade“
• Balcony / Terrace
• Bedromm: 1 double bed
• Bed linen and towels provided
• Hairdryer
• Ski room: Accessible on the ground floor

Any issues with the equipment must be reported to the owner immediately.

7. Weather Conditions

• The owner is not responsible for unforeseen weather-related events (e.g., closed roads, lack of snow, etc.).

8. Responsibilities

• The tenant is liable for any damages occurring during their stay.
• The apartment door must be locked even during short absences.
• The owner assumes no liability for theft or accidents occurring in the apartment.
• The use of candles is at the tenant's own risk.

 

Your booking data is also processed as follows:

• Your booking data (e.g. title, first name, last name, nationality, language, e-mail address, mobile telephone number, postal address, number of persons, arrival date, departure date, number of nights of stay and any visitor’s tax exemption) are forwarded to Bonfire AG and Zermatt Tourism (either by us or via our electronic booking system).

• Your booking data is recorded in a central database by Bonfire AG and/or Zermatt Tourism. If accommodation providers take part in Zermatt Tourism e-mail marketing, the guest data is likewise stored with the third-party provider «Salesforce» and used as part of the business relationship between the accommodation provider and the guest.

• Your booking data is processed exclusively in Switzerland and the EU.

• Based on this, Zermatt Tourism settles the visitor's tax owed and collects the corresponding amount from the service partners.

• Zermatt Tourism also reports information to the Federal Statistical Office.

• Bonfire AG and Zermatt Tourism grant the police access to the database with booking data so that the police can access relevant booking data for missing persons, for example.

• Zermatt Tourism uses the booking data to collect statistics (in particular regarding occupancy, length of stay, number of arrivals, etc.).

The legal basis for this data processing is the fulfilment of a legal obligation within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 (c) GDPR (billing and collection of visitor's tax/reporting to the Federal Statistical Office) and in the sense of Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR (granting access to the police/collection of statistics).

Your booking data is only used for direct marketing purposes (e.g. newsletter distribution) if you have given us your consent for this.
