Profound, warm-hearted, spiritual: who could forget the gig by Emeli Sandé, the Scottish musician with Zambian roots, at Zermatt Unplugged 2018? The talent of this soul and RnB icon is nothing short of remarkable – by the time she released her debut single Heaven in 2011, she had already played a key role in propelling several renowned musicians onto the global stage through her exceptional songwriting skills. Her 2012 album Our Version of Events peaked at number 1 in the UK. Sandé followed her unplugged performance at the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in London with the release in 2016 of the album Long Live the Angels, which met with the same enthusiasm in Switzerland as it did in the UK. And, since the days when musicians of her caliber were dictated to by record companies are long gone, the artist has also founded her own independent label: Venus Records.
The ticket for Zermatt Unplugged is valid for the concert at the marquee stage on Friday, April 10, 2026 – Emeli Sandé.
