Because it's a rapid descent down the mountain - from Blauherd (2,578 metres above sea level) to Sunnegga (2,288 metres above sea level). That's almost 300 metres in altitude and countless moments full of action and fun! 

Speedy rides on the slopes
In winter, skiers can take the gondolas, chairlifts and finally the aerial cableway up to the Rothorn. This is the start of the adventure on the sun-drenched slopes of the Rothorn. At Blauherd, the Blue Lounge has become a favourite place for sun-seekers to relax and enjoy the view of the Matterhorn from the terrace.
