The frozen Stellisee with the Matterhorn in the background is a beautiful photo subject.

• Carefully plan every mountain tour and adapt it to your own conditions as well as the weather and season.
• The weather can change quickly in the mountains. Therefore, take suitable clothing and enough provisions and water. Turn back in time if the weather is uncertain.
• Inform others about the tour and if possible never go alone.
• Do not leave marked paths and do not go on glaciers without a mountain guide.
• Walking on ski slopes is prohibited.
• Be considerate of other hikers as well as plants and animals.

Note: If there is avalanche danger, check if the path is open (signs in the cable car station, notices).
