The Alpen Resort Hotel, at the foot of the world-famous Matterhorn, is located 300m from Zermatt train station. The Sunnegga and Gornergrat railways can be reached in a few minutes. The 4 star hotel has a spacious wellness area with a heated indoor pool, a whirlpool and an outdoor whirlpool, children's pool, sauna, steam bath and an onsen pool heated to 42 degrees. Our Restaurant Matterhorn offers Swiss and Italian specialties à la carte and as half board. Grill Restaurant Hornox offers meat and vegetable dishes from the open grill. Many of our rooms offer a panoramic view of the Matterhorn.
