Zermatt's restaurant scene sparkles with new GaultMillau points

Zermatt has once again confirmed its reputation as a top culinary destination. The diverse and high-quality gastronomy within the village at the foot of the Matterhorn are regularly awarded GaultMillau points and Michelin stars. Several new honours have been added to the list recently.

André Kneubühler has only been head chef at THE OMNIA for around a year and is already considered one of the best in the destination. GaultMillau named him ‘Discovery of the Year 2025’ and awarded his kitchen team an additional point. THE OMNIA now has an impressive 17 GaultMillau points – a rating currently achieved by only three restaurants in Zermatt.

The Brasserie Lusi at the Grand Hotel Zermatterhof also has reason to celebrate: newly awarded 14 points, the kitchen produces highlights of French cuisine and international classics in a stylish ambience.

Further good news comes from the Marmo mountain restaurant in the hamlet of Furi. The young, creative team creates enthusiasm with innovative dishes and lots of passion. They have been rewarded with 13 GaultMillau points. This is a strong performance for a restaurant that has only existed for just under two years.
