Zermatt Named Best Alpine Ski Resort in the Alps

Matterhorn Ski Paradise has once again been named the Best Ski Resort in the Alps in the Best Ski Resort Report 2026. With an overall satisfaction score of 8.48, Zermatt receives this prestigious award for the fifth time, following previous wins in 2014, 2016, 2020 and 2023.

Zermatt received top ratings for the size and variety of its ski area, slope quality, snow reliability, lift comfort, slope safety, gastronomy, nature experience and ski schools. Based on the evaluations of 50,000 to 60,000 guests, the award once again confirms the outstanding quality of the overall mountain experience.
