New Experience in the Glacier Palace at 3,883 Metres Above Sea Level
The Glacier Palace at Matterhorn Glacier Paradise now welcomes visitors with a refreshed appearance. Located at 3,883 metres above sea level, a new signage concept and a redesigned entrance area provide clearer and more intuitive guidance through the fascinating world inside the glacier.
Updated information panels lead guests smoothly along the route and offer engaging insights into the formation, dynamics and unique characteristics of the glacier. At the same time, they highlight connections to Valais traditions, alpine flora and fauna, and the impressive ice sculptures found throughout the Glacier Palace.
The combination of ice, light, sculptures and well-curated knowledge creates a memorable experience. The renewed presentation brings the alpine glacier world to life and deepens visitors’ understanding of this unique high‑mountain environment.
