Mountaincarts: High-Speed Summer Adventure from Rothorn to Blauherd
A thrilling summer experience awaits adventure seekers in Zermatt: Mountaincarts offer a fast-paced ride on three wheels from the Rothorn down to Blauherd. Covering around 500 metres of vertical descent, the route combines adrenaline, fun and alpine scenery, with breathtaking views and the Matterhorn as a constant companion.
The descent follows varied terrain along gravel paths and alpine tracks. Fresh mountain air, a sense of speed and sweeping panoramas make the ride a memorable highlight of the summer season.
Mountaincarts are available at the Blauherd station. Before setting off, participants receive a comprehensive safety briefing from staff. A cart, helmet and protective goggles are then provided, allowing the downhill adventure to begin.
The Mountaincart experience adds an action-filled dimension to Zermatt’s wide range of summer activities and offers a dynamic way to explore the mountains.
