From 22 SUMMITS to THE SIXTEEN 20

The boutique hotel formerly known as 22 SUMMITS is embracing a new identity. From 13 November, it will be called THE SIXTEEN 20, or simply 1,620. The name refers to Zermatt’s altitude of 1,620 metres above sea level, strengthening the hotel’s connection to its location.

The new name marks the beginning of a new chapter for the hotel. At the same time, the familiar elements remain unchanged: the hotel, its team and the personal welcome guests have come to know.

The name change introduces a new identity while preserving the hotel’s familiar character.
