First Snow Experience in Summer with ZERMATTERS
Learning to ski in the middle of summer: From 2 May 2026, ZERMATTERS will offer a unique opportunity on the Testa Grigia. The new First snowXperience allows complete beginners to take their first steps on skis or a snowboard in a spectacular high alpine setting at 3,458 metres above sea level, surrounded by an impressive glacier landscape.
The compact introductory experience is designed specifically for guests with no prior experience who want to discover snow and winter sports for the first time. During a 90‑minute session, participants learn the basic techniques in a playful and accessible way. The experience is guided by experienced local snow sports instructors, ensuring safety, personal attention and a relaxed first encounter with snow.
All equipment is included, and no prior knowledge is required. The focus lies on the experience itself: the first contact with snow, movement at high altitude and a memorable adventure high above Zermatt – regardless of the season.
With the First snowXperience, ZERMATTERS expand their portfolio with a unique and low-threshold summer offering, making snow experiences accessible beyond the winter months. The experience is suitable for both visitors and locals and complements Zermatt’s diverse year‑round activities.
