Vernissage: Crossing borders

History and stories about the Theodul Pass, recorded in the age of the Matterhorn Alpine Crossing Railway. This book extends beyond Zermatt to Cervinia. It recounts the stages of the development of the Rhone Valley and the conquest of the Zermatt mountains. The book names the people behind the works and activities. There are real gems from the microcosm of Zermatt, but also familiar stories from a different, new perspective.

On Thursday, December 12 2024, at 7 pm, in the large library hall of the Niww Walka, the publication will be presented to the interested public. Admission is free, all are welcome.
